here is an image for each of the projects that have been/will be keeping me heinously busy until mid April.

This is a still from an almost animated motion graphic novel sequence to be used to pitch for a live action film. I animated drawings by Ben Tobitt, and compisitied and added effects in AE. I also did some sound design for it. Should be able to post the whole thing at some point...

I illustrated/animated a simplistic 2 minute film to be shown at a VF Corp exhibition demonstrating a Clothing System by Ultra 10 for Nautica. It was completed in just a week. I might only be able to put clips of it in my up-and-coming 2012 SHOWREEL

I have been recruited by the Bicycle Basecamp team to do illustration/animation for its awesome website/network which is going live SOON. The introductory film will be finished by next week. Backgrounds by the industrious Ben Tobitt

I am working on a film featuring the deaths of the Moose, the Caribou, the Wolf, the Bear and the Migratory Duck. Everything will be revealed on April 16th...

In the New Year a lot of exciting things have happened.
Here are two of them:

I got to teach Animation for the first time at St Helen and St Katharine Independent School in Abingdon. I taught a brief history of Animation, followed by examples of its use today, then set the girls on some Preston Blair walk cycles, then let them do whatever they wanted. Here is the result, which, considering these girls were only 14, is pretty impressive:

Daniel Britt got me to animate some scottish pandas in a nice fast-turnaround project for Amnesty International:

October is always a good month. When I was smaller, when half-term rolls around, it always ends in halloween, followed by Guy Fawkes, then it's 6 weeks till Christmas... bonus!
Amongst other things, at the end of September I:

- got to help out on Sherbet's segment in A Liar's Autobiography. The segment is directed by Joe Pelling. The film is going to be genius. and in 3D.

- got to help out on a video directed by Daniel Britt for a popular American kids TV show, which will also be genius.

- collaborated with charming illustrator Jorge Martin in creating an animation for Tax Justice about Tax Havens (a still from which can be seen above).

None of this stuff can be watched yet.

Back before I had finished my degree, I was lucky enough to get into touch with the learning department of Historic Royal Palaces, and was commissioned by them, along with 5 other tasty talents, to create 5 animations depicting famous prisoners in the Tower of London. They are now online! You can watch an excerpts compilation here, or go to the HRP Youtube channel and watch all five of them.

I was recently hired by Richard Hogg to animate the work of various different illlustrators for an amazing video game for the PS Vita, which is being developed by the awesome Honeyslug. I got to animate the work of the aforementioned Mr. Hogg, Timothy Winchester, Johnny Ryan and Jon Boam. It's gonna be worth buying the console just for this game. Here's the trailer for it, in which I also feature (in a blue t shirt):
